My name is George and thanks for visiting The
Gray Fedora! This blog is my
foray into the world of movie blogging. There
are no pretensions, no expectations and delusions of grandeur – except when
I don’t have the time to create a completely original blog
like Movie Pilot or Classic Movie Hub. Here at The Gray Fedora some posts may
be simply a picture, or a link, or maybe even a review. I don’t write a lot of original stuff, but I
usually include quotes from contemporary movie critics, and synopses or reviews
others have written. I always try to
cite the original writer so if you see something you own, and I haven’t given
credit for it – please just let me know!
I have no sponsors, and have not sought any, so all links go to exactly
what they say!
Mostly the posts will be about film noir movies, but I love
a lot of different kinds of movies so - who knows! This blog is primarily a way to keep track of
movies I watch. Seems the older I get,
the harder it is to remember the names of movies, then comes a day I want to
see it again and, for the life of me, I can't find it again. So that's really what this is about...that
and just having fun!
Don’t go away yet! I
am also the owner House 173, a blog
about the evolution of our 1927 folk Victorian house. It’s not a fancy house, but it’s ours and we
love it! In this blog I write about
remodeling projects, some of the stuff I build, or even some simple ramblings
about things – how’s that for specificity?
