About The Gray Fedora

Hi all,

My name is George - welcome to The Gray Fedora!

This blog is my little corner of the world where I share poetry - sometimes my own, sometimes the words of others that have struck a chord with me. Every now and then, I’ll also wander into the world of film and jot down a few thoughts about a movie that caught my attention.

I make no claim to being a critic or a scholar - just someone who enjoys exploring language, rhythm, and storytelling. Some posts might be a single poem, others a reflection, or even just a quote that I couldn’t resist sharing. Whenever I feature someone else’s work, I’ll do my best to give proper credit, and if you see something that belongs to you and isn’t attributed, please let me know!

Mostly, though, this is a space for creativity, memory, and a bit of fun. Writing helps me hold onto fleeting thoughts and moments, whether they come in the form of a stanza, a borrowed line, or a scene from an old film.

Oh, and if you’re curious beyond poetry and movies, I also keep another blog - House 173, which chronicles the ongoing adventure of life in our 1927 folk Victorian home. It’s not fancy, but it’s ours, and it’s full of stories too.

Thanks for stopping by!
